When I was 20 and studying abroad in England, my flat mates and I took a spring break trip to France and Italy. One of them was an art history minor, and I got my first art history lessons in the Louvre, Georges Pompidou Center and Uffizi Gallery. Not surprisingly, I was hooked on art forevermore. So this episode was really fun to work on. I always learn so much from Bonnie Smith’s scripts, and the Crash Course team is so clever that there are funny tidbits in each episode. Watch for John Green’s election to the Florentine Signoria and the “Big Dog” tyrant. Enjoy!
